Jaisalmer Fort: also nicknamed “Sonar Qila” is a must attraction over here. The huge fort is a “working fort” meaning it has many shops, hotels and havelis where families have lived since time immemorial.
bada bagh- as the name suggests, you can find out variety of natural beauty, flaura and fauna.
surya gate- nothing can be defined in words about the architecture of this place... visit and praise the glorious fort gate.
gadsisar lake- this lake is situated in the middle of the havellis which are now transformed in to hotels. perfect for dinner and evenings.
best time to visit- visit the place during winter after october till april month to avoid hot summers.
How to Reach
Jaisalmer has train connectivity to cities like Jaipur, Jodhpur and New Delhi. Recently the Air Base in Jaisalmer opened its airstrip to limited air traffic particularly Delhi.
